Half Argentinian, half Italian, Juan Pablo started to run almost by mistake in June 2016 and completed the Vitosha100, his first ultramarathon, in the same year.
In February 2018 he will be the first Argentinian to participate in the Montane Yukon Arctic Ultra, a race of 485 km on a frozen river with temperatures between -30 / -50 Celsius degrees.
Hopefully he’ll be back to tell us the story of running into the cold.
His other plans for 2018 include Yukon Arctic Ultra, Corsica 1000km, UTMB, Transpyrenea and TransOmania. He will also attempt his first triathlon with a half Ironman (70.3 miles) in November in Buenos Aires and finally he will attempt to climb Aconcagua Peak which at just shy of 7000 meters is the highest mountain outside of Asia. All this before he starts his ultimate challenge in January 2019…”Niama Limits: Running to the End of the World” Running through the Pan-American Route, covering the entire American continent from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, a total of 35000 km in around 900 days!”
